Meet the Artist Welcome to the artwork of Elizabeth A. Evans, an award winning formally trained painter who has been providing her special brand of art to a growing number of collectors and fans for over 30 years. As an artist, she is continually growing and exploring the world around her. She has produced a substantial body of work dealing with a variety of subject matter. For the most part, her style can be classified as "representational", (as opposed to abstract). The subject matter is readily recognizable but the treatment is what makes her unique. We hope you enjoy your visit and find some images that you can directly relate to. Images that will speak to your soul TRAINING & BACKGROUND Elizabeth was Born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. . PERSONAL Elizabeth lives in North Vancouver, B.C. Canada with her husband. She has 3 daughters and two dogs that keep her constantly busy. When she's not painting, you'll usually find her in one of her gardens busily tending to plants or flowers. She lives in a secluded area in the mountains and is constantly being inspired by her natural surroundings. She has an ongoing battle with a chipmunk who's decided he owns the property and will do what he likes, including digging up her plants and knocking over her flower pots. So far "Chippy" is clearly in charge. We'll see how it goes over the next few months.
